LEARNING BY DOING!

The focus of this unique course will introduce learners to literacy and numeracy through working with food!

By involving learners in basic food preparation including budgeting, shopping, following recipes, weighing & measuring ingredients, using basic kitchen equipment, and simple cooking—naturally embedded literacy and numeracy skills are imparted in a practical, creative and fun way.

The aim of this course is learning, self-development and confidence building while learning new skills.

This Course will be conducted onsite and via live ZOOM.

Wednesdays 1.00pm – 4.00pm
8 Week Course – 10 February to 31 March

Cost: *FUNDED FEE: $50.00
*To be eligible for a Funded placement participants must be Australian residents and produce a green Medicare card as evidence of eligibility
